Message from the LPWA President

The Long Point Waterfowlers’ works in cooperation with Ducks Unlimited Canada and other organization to help provide access to places like these that could otherwise be inaccessible.

It's imperative that we have the cooperation and stewardship of the hunter's that use these properties to ensure the future of public hunting opportunities throughout Ontario. It is you guys who can make or break these opportunities so I encourage all of you to spread the word get involved and make this a success.

There are many properties throughout Ontario that have the potential to adapt this model and increase your opportunities but that can only happen with user cooperation, proper etiquette and stewardship of the land. If someone is abusing the property it's up to you to help them understand that if this continues we will all lose.

I can't emphasize this enough that it's YOU the hunter's who can keep this wonderful resource for all of us, so get involved and do your part so this is still there for your children and grandchildren.

Thanks everyone,
John Foster
